Our flagship gin based around a classic London Dry recipe. We wanted to create a spirit that stays faithful to traditional methods but flirts with less conventional botanicals. One-shot distillation ensures every drop contacts the Portuguese alembic copper still. The result is a soft and thoroughly drinkable gin.

Soft aromas of almond with a hint of vanilla balanced by fresh, zesty apple. The flavour is of light juniper, delicate citrus and apple balanced by a creamy, nuttiness and subtle sweet notes. Distinctive, light and extremely smooth.

 Apple Gin Fizz

Ingredients:
40ml Knot Garden Gin
100ml apple juice
10ml simple sugar syrup
Squeeze of lemon
Prosecco
Fresh apple, lemon & mint to garnish

Add gin, apple juice, simple syrup and lemon juice to a cocktail shaker with a handful of ice. Shake well and strain into a glass of your choice. Add a couple of ice cubes and top up with prosecco. Garnish with a slice of apple and lemon and a small sprig of fresh mint.

About the Distiller

We’ve always enjoyed seeking out the amazing small-batch distilleries we are lucky enough to have dotted around the UK, and learning how they craft their flavours by hand. While soaking everything up, we’ve always harboured the desire to join their ranks, but fate and timing never seemed to be on our side.

The global covid-19 pandemic delivered stress, sadness and uncertainty like no time in recent memory.  But it also motivated us to walk down another path and take a chance on founding the Saragusta Spirits Company.
