10% Off – Saragusta Spirits Company, Windy Ridge Rum

Aromas of cacao, burnt orange and fragrant vanilla. On tasting, notes of chocolate and caramel come through. A gentle, orangey citrus provides balance with a long, buttery finish. Smooth, mellow and delicately refined.

Marmalade Daquiri

Ingredients:
50ml Windy Ridge Rum
25ml Cointreau
15ml simple sugar syrup
15ml lime juice
1 tsp good quality fine shred marmalade
Orange peel twist to garnish

Add rum, Cointreau, sugar syrup, lime juice and marmalade to a cocktail shaker with a
handful of ice. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds and strain into a coup glass. Garnish
with a twist of orange peel.

About the Distiller

We’ve always enjoyed seeking out the amazing small-batch distilleries we are lucky enough to have dotted around the UK, and learning how they craft their flavours by hand. While soaking everything up, we’ve always harboured the desire to join their ranks, but fate and timing never seemed to be on our side.

The global covid-19 pandemic delivered stress, sadness and uncertainty like no time in recent memory.  But it also motivated us to walk down another path and take a chance on founding the Saragusta Spirits Company.
