A smooth and Mythical blend uniquely distilled in Cornwall, conceived and formulated by Craig the owner of Mother's Ruin 1751.

Cornish Blue - Flamingo Gin is rare, beautiful and quite mythical. My gin will contain unusual and scarce botanicals. Some of these botanicals found growing in my own garden, black Bee honey produced on Rame Peninsula and the amazing special Açai Berries from Brazil.

Distilled in a 200 litre batches in a traditional copper still using our own unique recipe.

Bottled at 40% abv with the main botanicals of Açai Berries, Lemon Thyme, Basil and Rosemary providing Herbaceous and sweet notes. The Black Bee Honey providing a sweet smooth finish, this is a classic London Dry gin that should not be over-complicated.

NOSE - The essential piney juniper up front, followed by orange peel, lemon rind, Lime skin & stimulating zest from coriander. Last but not least, we have the charming hits of sumac giving a lasting, slightly spicy nose.

PALATE - Again, juniper & soft zesty citrus on the fore, slight bitterness from the lemon & Lime zest & Acai berries that make this gin incredibly moreish. Floral Elderflower also makes an appearance afterwards along with the addition of hibiscus to give a full-bodied fruity flavour.

FINISH - On the finish we have the long-lasting herbaceous notes present, consisting of home-grown basil, lemon thyme & rosemary, carried by creamy macadamia making this a very special, three-dimensional gin.

PERFECT SERVE - Using a Mother’s Ruin 1751 Dartington Crystal glass, remove your cold bottle of Cornish Blue Flamingo Gin from the fridge pour a double measure over two large cubes of Ice. Garnish with either fresh Rosemary or Basil & pour a full chilled bottle of Fever-Tree Mediterranean Tonic.

Botanicals: Juniper, Coriander Seeds, Lemon peel, Fresh Lime Peel, Orange Peel, Organic Acai Berries, Black Bee Honey, Orris Root, Cardamon, Sumac, Fresh Basil, Fresh Lemon Thyme, Fresh Rosemary, Hibiscus Petals, Elderflowers and Macadamia Nuts.
